Mohan – a journey celebrating the taste of native Andhra

The story of Mohan began over four decades ago, when a humble agriculturist from interior Andhra Pradesh, took the rather bold step of bringing his native rustic foods to the swish city of Bangalore. The first Mohan restaurant on Residency Road in 1984, armed with little more than his passion. And the courage of conviction about the wonders of traditional Andhra cuisine. How could anyone anywhere resist the spicy aromas, the earthy flavours, the tantalizing tastes of coastal Andhra? It took time. The strong Andhra flavours were alien to the Bangalorean palate. But once discovered, they were converted for life.
